New Energy
Annual Production of 10000 Intelligent Charging Points Project of Songyuan City
1 Introduction to the Project
1.1 Project background
1.1.1 Project introduction
The intelligent charging point is a charging device combining the Internet and intelligent technology, which is mainly used to provide charging services for electric vehicles. Compared with traditional charging points, intelligent charging points have more functions and advantages. The intelligent charging points can exchange information with electric vehicles, users and power grids through the Internet, and support remote monitoring, data analysis and power management. This means that users can view real-time information such as charging status, charging progress, and fees through mobile applications, while operators can remotely monitor the working status of charging points, detect and solve faults in a timely manner.
1.1.2 Market prospect
(1) Panoramic view of the charging points industry chain
From the perspective of the charging points industry chain, the construction to operation mainly involves charging equipment manufacturers, charging construction operators, and overall solution providers. These types of practitioners in Chinese charging industry chain often have overlapping identities and are involved in multiple functional fields at the same time.
The electric vehicle charging points industry chain includes the manufacturers of equipment required for the construction and operation of upstream charging points and charging stations, including the main material supply enterprises and charging equipment manufacturers for the shells, bases, and cables of charging points and charging stations. The midstream of the industry chain includes charging station builders and operators, responsible for the construction and operation of charging points and stations. The downstream of the industry chain includes comprehensive solution providers, providing charging station location services and appointment payment functions, or offering charging operation management platforms and solutions, which can coordinate upstream and downstream as well as customer needs, and reasonably provide overall operation solutions.
(2) Charging points market demand analysis
In recent years, the global new energy vehicle market has shown a sustained growth trend. In 2023, the global sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 13.69 million units, a year-on-year increase of 35%.
In the future, driven by multiple factors such as increased environmental awareness, policy support, and technological progress, the new energy vehicle market is expected to continue to maintain rapid development. According to relevant predictions, global sales of new energy vehicles are expected to exceed 47 million units by 2030, corresponding to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 20% from 2022 to 2030.
China occupies an important position in the global new energy vehicle field and has been the largest new energy vehicle market in the world for many consecutive years. In the H1 of 2024, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 4.929 million and 4.944 million respectively, an increase of 30.1% and 32% year-on-year, with a market share of 35.2%. As of the end of June, the cumulative production and sales of Chinese new energy vehicles exceeded 30 million units. According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, new car sales (including exports) in China are expected to increase by 3% in 2024 compared to 2023, reaching approximately 31 million units. Among them, the new energy vehicles will sell approximately 11.5 million units this year.
From January to July 2024, China's share of new energy vehicles in the global market reached 65.5%, far exceeding other countries. In the field of pure electric vehicles, China's global market share reached 61% in 2023 and maintained a stable performance of 59% in H1 of 2024. In terms of plug-in hybrid models, China's market share has increased from 69% in 2023 to 74% in H1 of 2024, demonstrating strong competitiveness of China in this field.
In terms of development speed, China's new energy vehicle industry is growing rapidly. On the one hand, there is a strong demand in Chinese market, and consumers' acceptance of new energy vehicles is constantly increasing; On the other hand, strong policy support has also played a key role, including subsidy policies, preferential car purchase indicators, and the construction of charging facilities. In addition, Chinese new energy vehicle companies have continuously increased their investment in technological innovation and product research and development, driving the rapid development of the industry.
Driven by the downstream new energy vehicle market, the demand for charging points in China is growing rapidly. With the rapid growth of terminal sales and penetration rate of new energy electric vehicles, the demand for supporting equipment charging points is growing rapidly. Moreover, China's population density, long highway mileage and road characteristics put forward higher requirements for the number of domestic charging stations and charging points and charging efficiency. The 14th Five Year Plan specifies the construction goals of charging points, providing important impetus for the development of the charging industry in various provinces and cities. On January 21, 2022, the NDRC, the NEA, and other ten departments recently issued the Implementation Opinions on Further Improving the Service Guarantee Capacity of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, which clarifies that by the end of the 14th Five Year Plan, China's electric vehicle charging guarantee capacity will be further improved to meet the charging needs of more than 20 million electric vehicles. Subsequently, 31 provinces and cities successively introduced a series of relevant policies and plans, providing important impetus for the development of China's charging points industry. Among them, Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, Hainan and other provinces and cities have clearly planned the construction scale of charging points by 2025, further promoting the rapid development of China's charging points industry.
(3) The prospect of intelligent charging points
The intelligent charging points market is showing a booming trend, and the market size is constantly expanding with the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market. According to relevant data, the global electric vehicle market is expected to maintain high-speed growth in the coming years, reaching a scale of tens of millions of vehicles by 2025, which will directly drive the rapid expansion of the intelligent charging points market.
Meanwhile, with the continuous advancement of technology, the functional requirements of intelligent charging points are gradually increasing. Judging from the current market, China's electric vehicle charging points industry has entered a period of vigorous development, with various fields accelerating their entry. The number of public charging points continues to grow, with a high proportion of enterprise public charging point. At the same time, the number of charging facilities built with vehicles is also continuously increasing. In terms of policy driven development, charging points, as supporting facilities for the promotion of new energy vehicles, have received strong support from the government and are regarded as the "last mile" for the development of new energy vehicles. They are expected to receive more investment and development opportunities in the field of new infrastructure, and the market outlook is optimistic.
1.1.3 Technical analysis
The main production process is as follows:
Component processing: Process and manufacture various components required for the charging point according to the design drawings. This includes processes such as cutting, stamping, and welding to equip the components with the desired shape and size.
Component assembly: After the component processing is completed, it is necessary to assemble each component. This includes installing electronic controllers, sockets, power cords, and other components onto the charging body, ensuring their connections are secure and stable.
Testing and debugging: After assembly, test and debug the charging point to ensure that its various functions and performance meet the requirements. For example, testing whether the power input and output of the charging point work properly, and whether the charging speed meets the standards.
Appearance treatment: Treat and decorate the appearance of the charging point to improve its appearance quality and aesthetics. The shell shall have good waterproof, dustproof, and anti-corrosion properties.
Packaging and transportation: After the processing and handling of the charging point is completed, it needs to be packaged to protect it from damage during transportation. The packaging methods usually include wooden boxes, cardboard boxes, and the packaging content and precautions need to be labeled.
1.1.4 Advantageous conditions of project construction
